These sets of works aim to establish a parallelism between Contemporary Art History (from the nineteen-fifties to the present) and the History of Skateboarding: A series of skate ramps are painted white, their surface becoming flat paintings exposing the scratches made through its use, evoking the techniques of the Abstract Expressionism Movement and those of Jackson Pollock’s paintings. In addition, sculptures are made out of books relating to different subjects, but generally art themed, with used skateboard trucks and wheels installed to their back covers. The series includes a book publication, which text is in the fashion of a collage, precisely echoing a theoretical and visual analogy between art and skateboarding's history. A map tracing skateboarding routes in Manhattan, New York City, and other cities where the project has traveled is also included in the series, as well as other interventions in situ.
