Still a work in progress, this project proposes interventions in Puerto Rican communities that are called Vietnam after the country. The thesis behind Vietnam/Vietnam (PR) is to seek out answers for problems that currently affect these communities by finding solutions or alternatives already applied in the country of Vietnam.

The first part of the project was a proposal for the community of Vietnam in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, teaming up with Professor Ivonne Marcial of the New School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and her class (ARCH 3020). The students presented to the community different possible projects to be intervened on site, respecting its structure and developing a visual analogy between the idea of Vietnam (the country) and Vietnam (the neighborhood).
